Football First (Mike Sturrock, Assistant Head, Independent School in Telford) will be running a series of football courses at Wrekin College Sports Centre Wellington, Telford, Shropshire, over the holidays. The courses are open to all boys and girls in the Shropshire and West Midlands and offer exciting opportunities to enjoy fun soccer sessions during the summer holiday.

 

Each day will include fun football activities, matches and competitions, with sportsperson of the week being awarded to players who try their hardest and have the best attitude and teamwork.

 

The day would look like the following with children bringing a packed lunch:

 

9:00-9:30 – Register children and free play

 

9:30-10:30 – Session 1

 

10:30-11:00 – snack and break time

 

11:00-12:00 – Session 2

 

12:00-12:30 – snack and break time

 

12:30-13:00 – Session 3

 

13:00-13:30 – Lunch time

 

13:30-14:30 – Session 4

 

14:30-14:45 – drinks break

 

14:45-15:30 – Session 5 (matches/tournament)
